What do you get when you mix a Social Worker, a Public Servant and a teacher? The Wellington based band STRUMPET. They are a lively acoustic/electric band who enjoy politics, humour and an odd poke in the eye to the establishment. Their songs span everything from Chernobyl to Chocolate (inclusive) and a lot in between. The band draw on wide range of musical traditions including folk, blues, jazz and rock and roll. The band take pride in writing and performing their own work.
